Abstract:
In the first chapter, Iranian radio and television from their inception to the present day are briefly reviewed, and also an interview is conducted with Ms. Khoshsima, one of the senior producers of the organization, regarding the status of children’s and teenagers’ programs of Channel One. In the second chapter, the role of television in the family is studied, and in the third and fourth chapters, the use of television by children and teenagers is examined. And in the fifth chapter, the cartoon series The Footballers is evaluated. The conclusion is that the majority of negative judgments about television stem from the results of numerous studies in which the relationship between violent movies and violent behaviors in children has been confirmed. In most communities, television causes children’s recreation hours and pastime to change significantly. Children’s favorite programs can be divided into the following groups: Western, action, mystery, comedy, family, and current popular songs.
