Abstract:

The aim of the current study is to investigate the relationship between emotional self-regulation and social intelligence with social goals.For this propose, the way of multi-stage sampling, 380 female high school students in Tehran ware selected.They Completed self-regulation questiinnaire Garnefski CERQ(2002) , scale social intelligence(TSIS) Silvera (2001) and social goals scale Ventezel (1991).
The data were analysed using Pearson correlation coefficient and step-wise regression analysis. The results indicated the social goals and social intelligence had significant positive correlation with self regulation adopted motivation. The self-regulation motivation-maladapted had significant negative correlation with social goals. social intelligence and regulation adapted motivation had positive correlation but with regulation motivation maladopted had negative correlation. The result step-wise regression analyses showed that the components emotional self-regulation, social intelligence strategy of regulation adapted motivation and social awareness are the best predictors of social goals.
In general, it can be concluded that the students who self-regulation motivation, High School intelligence and good cooperation skills, social relation had ,followed certaib by social goals
