International Film Festival for Children and Youth<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

\nThe International Film Festival for Children and Youth,formerly International Festival of Film for Children and Young Adults, is an Iranian film festival targeting children and youth. Professional filmmakers with expertise in children’s films are eligible to attend the festival.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event is held in nine categories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(1) The International Cinema Competition<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

(5) International Center of Film for Children and Young People (CIFEJ) Award<\/strong> – to be judged by an international jury introduced by CIFEJ <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The highest award is called the Golden Butterfly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Host cities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Isfahan<\/a> has been the major host the International Film Festival for Children and Youth (IFFCY) for 18 rounds. Tehran<\/a>, Hamedan<\/a>, and Kerman<\/a> have also hosted the event in previous editions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

City of Isfahan will host the festival for four coming years until 2021<\/p>\n\n\n\n
